The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former Green Bay Packers linebacker Jermaine Taylor Friday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 5-foot-10, 215-pound Taylor entered the NFL in 2004 as an undrafted free agent with the Packers. He was released on Sept. 6.
Taylor started all four seasons at Bridgewater (Va.) College, a NCAA Div. III school, and was named Old Dominion Atlantic Conference Player of the Year in 2002 and Co-Player of the Year in 2003.
During his senior season, Taylor notched a school-record 148 tackles, five sacks, four forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and one interception.
