The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed two undrafted free agents on Thursday, inking Texas A&M tight end/long snapper Boone Stutz and Oregon linebacker Anthony Trucks to contracts.
The 6-foot-6, 256-pound Stutz caught 13 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns in 23 career games (two seasons) with the Aggies. Stutz’s biggest impact came on special teams where he served as the team’s long snapper.
Trucks (6-1, 234) played in 12 games (11 starts) as a senior, totaling 99 tackles and 11 sacks. He played in 20 career games, recording 184 tackles, 18 sacks, one interception, seven passes defensed, three fumble recoveries and five forced fumbles at Oregon.
Tampa Bay’s three-day rookie mini-camp is scheduled to begin this Friday at One Buc Place.
