The Buccaneers have signed 20 rookies to tryout contracts, and they will join the team’s 12 draft picks, nine undrafted free agents and nine first-year players this weekend for Tampa Bay’s three-day rookie mini-camp, which starts today at One Buccaneer Place.
The list of participants includes Tampa Bay’s 12 draft picks — RB Carnell “Cadillac” Williams, TE Alex Smith, LB Barrett Ruud, T Chris Colmer, G Dan Buenning, S Donte Nicholson, WR Larry Brackins, DT Anthony Bryant, FB Rick Razzano, WR Paris Warren, S Hamar Abdullah and WR J.R. Russell.
Tampa Bay’s nine undrafted free agents — RB Fred Reid, CB Dominque Morris, CB Kevin Arbet, LB Matt Gootegoed, CB Ukee Dozier, G Doug Buckles, G/C Jonathan Clinkscale, G/T Leon Robinson and DT Lynn McGruder as well as first-year players WR Chris Davis, WR DeAndrew Rubin, WR Kevin Youngblood, S Eli Ward, LB Byron Hardmon, LB Josh Buhl, LS Brian Sawyer, LB Jermaine Taylor and C Scott Jackson will also participate in this weekend’s workouts.
