The Tampa Bay Buccaneers released the following players on Tuesday to get down to the required number of no more than 73 players on their roster. The NFL specifies that teams cut their rosters down to 65 players by 4:00 p.m. ET today, but the Bucs have eight NFL Europe roster exemptions.

In other roster moves:

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers placed defensive end Lamar King on injured reserve, which ends his 2004 season, and also put guard Matt O’Dwyer on the PUP (physically unable to perform) list. O’Dwyer, who is still recovering from a pectoral injury he suffered in July, can return to the team after six games if he is healthy.
