Bucs Audition DT Gibson

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are interested in adding depth and size to their nose position, brought in free agent DT Oliver Gibson for a workout Wednesday, has learned. The 6-foot-2, 315-pound Gibson is entering his 10th season out of Notre Dame and has notched 262 tackles and 17.5 sacks while playing for Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Buffalo.

Bucs-Bengals Game Rescheduled For Monday

Tampa Bay's preseason contest vs. the Cincinnati Bengals has been rescheduled for Monday, Aug. 16 at 7:30 p.m. The Bucs and Bengals were originally scheduled to clash on Saturday night, but the threat of Hurricane Charley caused the Tampa Sports Authority to postpone the exhibition contest, which will still be played at Raymond James Stadium. Tampa Bay Introduces Brown

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former Oakland Raiders wide receiver Tim Brown to a one-year contract Tuesday. The Bucs are hoping Brown, 38, will serve as a mentor for rookie WR Michael Clayton while playing an integral role in Jon Gruden's offense, which he thrived in as a Raider.
