The injury bug popped up again on Sunday as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Monday that they have placed cornerback Michael Adams on the Injured Reserve list.
Adams (5-8, 181) played in six games with the Buccaneers this season, recording 11 tackles, one pass defensed and one sack. He also added a special teams tackle.
Adams missed several weeks earlier this season due to injury and was activated prior to Tampa Bay’s eight game of the season against the Seahawks.
The Buccaneers have placed a number of players on injured reserve including starters running backs Doug Martin, Mike James and wide receiver Mike Williams.
