Bucs fans and players gathered at Westchase Golf Club in Tampa for the second annual Chris Hovan-Pewter Report Charity Golf Tournament on Sunday.

We are proud to announce that the Chris Hovan-Pewter Report Charity Golf Tournament was a huge success and raised thousands of dollars for the Children’s Cancer Center and The Angelus.

Bucs fans, players and personnel and media members filled out 25 foursomes at Westchase Golf Club for the charity event, which was sponsored by TRW & Associates.

With the help of Chris Hovan and Randy Harris, and support provided by Shannon Oliviero and the Children’s Cancer Center and Gar and Tammy Williams from The Angelus, we successfully raised $30,000, which will benefit both charities.

In addition to Tampa Bay defensive tackle Chris Hovan, some of the Bucs players and personnel that were in attendance included head coach Jon Gruden, general manager Bruce Allen, personnel executive Doug Williams, quarterback Jeff Garcia, running back Warrick Dunn, recently retired fullback Mike Alstott and linebacker Shelton Quarles, defensive end Gaines Adams, middle linebacker Barrett Ruud, defensive end Kevin Carter, defensive tackle Jovan Haye, safety Sabby Piscitelli, guard Davin Joseph, right tackle Jeremy Trueblood, quarterback Bruce Gradkowski, center Dan Buenning, defensive lineman Jimmy Wilkerson, tackle Donald Penn, former Bucs guard Jorge Diaz, tackle Dennis Roland, linebackers coach Gus Bradley, defensive line coach Todd Wash, among others.

Not only did Hovan play an integral role in putting on this successful event, but his team also finished in first place and won the five-person scramble.
