Less than one year after they teamed up together to fight pediatric cancer, Bucs wide receiver Michael Clayton and Mercedes-Benz have scored for their cause.
Clayton and Mercedes-Benz presented a check for $60,000 to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation (PCF) on March 22.
Mercedes-Benz made a pledge last year to donate money for every catch Clayton made during the 2005 season as part of the “Catch for the Cure” campaign.
Clayton finished last season with 32 catches for 372 yards before being sidelined for Tampa Bay’s final two games of the season with a turf toe injury.
