Now, likely no JMac. Waiting for CG and M1k3 to return in whatever capacity they’re able.

Good thing we drafted Mek & Tez - hate that we’re relying on rookies - hopefully their relatively light workload so far will extend the confines of the rookie wall.

Goedeke is now the biggest hope for stabilizing o-line. By the way, has anyone heard anything about Haggard?

Is Jmac out for the season or something?

really capturing our strengths and masking those weaknesses well enough to call him anything more than a middle of the pack play caller.

I think that's fair.  I was suggesting there might be more at play than play calling. Coen was a genius play caller for the 49ers game too. Part of that was the play calling before that, but much of that is also with an intact line and Irving.

we will all get a better sense if/when the offense gets healthy.  Pulling for Grizz

There was a story on JBF, quoting Bowles who indicated broken bones in the neck from the impact with the ground. The writer concluded that if that was the case it would explain why JMac is still in a neck brace. If there are broken bones, the timeline would likely be beyond the season.

If this is indeed the case, then this coaching staff and training staff is a bigger fucking joke then I thought.

or he may not playn at all.

would not be out of the realm of possibilities that he just decides to retire.  pretty serious injury

Maybe… but JMac seems to be smiling in most of the pics I’ve seen of him. Reporters have mentioned the same. As the JBF story said, JPP had a similar injury and came back in record time… while acknowledging that neck injuries are different.

Maybe we’ll know more next week.

Yes i am very hopeful he returns to form. Just saying its the type of injury that would make some people retire. Breaking bones in your neck . .  yikes.

(I blame Bowles!)

We seemingly got the worst of both worlds in preseason. We didn't play enough to be in sync and we also sustained some tough injuries.
