The first thing Licht does out of cap jail for the Bucs is to overpay for a #2 TE.

Meanwhile the Bucs could have used that cap space to upgrade guard or defensive front seven.

If he was that easy to replace then Culp or Durham would've already over taken him, but neither block as well (which says something bad about them lol) and the blocking role is pretty critical in a Coen offense:

Durham is total trash. Culp could be a solid backup but his blocking is not good.

Otton is better than them but that speaks to Licht's ability to assess TEs (poor) more than Otton being anywhere close to average.

They all stink. Tallest midget 

Otton was a 4th round pick and he is an average TE (receiving) who also blocks.  In his draft hasnt he class he's outperformed 2 of the 3 guys picked before him?  Thats a "win" for a GM and why he might potentially leave for more than the Bucs would pay him.

Durham is total trash.

And, he graded out better than Otton this past season. 

Kieft is the only one I'd keep. 

Draft Otton's replacement in the middle rounds (or dumpster diving in FA).
