If you want to say I overrated Trueblood then you also have to say everyone overrated Jensen.
lmao ...math is fun

That's not how that works. But sure, I'm sure there were a few that overrated Jensen just like you overrated Trueblood. What does that have to do with price of tea in China?
Regardless, your evals are off on both players, as Trueblood wasn't as good as you thought and Jensen wasn't as bad as you thought. Reminiscent of a couple RB's on the team currently.
And Penn was underrated if anything. Draft status bias.
That's true. I remember when Nate Newton was underrated and never got the respect he deserved because of his undrafted status.

lol Your "eval" of White on Sept 6, 2024
We’ll see who starts and gets more carries on Sunday. And the week after that. And the week after that. And the week after that. And the week after that.
i think you would call your convo with JC about player evaluations a "cripple fight?"

That's exactly how it works. Both were marginal players on good offensive lines but brought value as being dirty enforcers.

His credit was deserved. That said, Cowboys fan = goofy.

interesting list. The first i've seen Gruber on the mount Rushmore!

You could make an argument that a player who performs at such a consistency high level on teams that are mostly crap is truly a special player.
It would have been so much easier for him to drop his own standards, force a trade etc.
One reason that Mr. Selmon is always at or near the top of most lists
I feel like Gruber is often left out of the discussion but he deserves some mention.

not quite the same but I think of Nickerson in a similar way. He wasn't with us for the Super Bowl but he played a huge role in changing culture when he came to the Bucs as a free agent.
on PR Reports top 50, we've had 3 kickers so far make it in Martin, Chase, and Succop
that's pretty sad lol
dont get me wrong, all were pretty good in their primes and loving Chase these days but damn
i mean Ryan Succop only played with us for 3 seasons, on a super bowl winning team; Martin was 6 on a super bowl winning team so i maybe get him.
Chase so far is entering season 3. He is on his way, but 2 seasons...sheesh...i would maybe give Gronk a nod for 2 seasons but not sure many else would get a nod for just 2 seasons
This is a very hard topic because this is a "Team Sport". We know that though this takes a concerted effort and chemistry. Coaches and players make the abilities and talents shine brighter as they play as an elite player bringing out the talents of mediocre players to elevate their game.
My picks of top 10 Elites that the Buc's have had in no particular order:
1) Doug Williams
2) Derrick Brooks
3) Paul Gruber
4) Warren Sapp
5) Ronde Barber
6) Mike Alstott
7)Hardy Nickerson
8) Joe Jurevicius
9) Lee Roy Selmon
10) John Lynch
These top 100 lists Ira Kaufman and PR are putting out are literal brain rot. Luke Goedeke??? He's had 2 good years.
