These ‘rejected’ Super Bowl ads are just a media ploy. People fall for it all the time. They get far more exposure by claiming to be ‘rejected’ than they would just by airing them and paying up the 5mil. So instead of paying 5m for ‘super bowl’ exposure they get even MORE exposure and pay nothing. It’s genius really… I’m sure we’ll see more and more of these ‘rejected’ adds every year as companies realize how much free exposure they get.
