You seem to believe that getting the most people to vote is the ideal. I disagree with that.

@JBear

the idea that people are coerced to vote is absolutely not even worth responding too

BEYONGD THAT THOUGH . .

as a simple matter of MATH and STATISTICS . . and LOGIC . . the more people who vote the more representative the government.

That should be undeniable .. again simply based on math, science, stats etc, but if you want a real world example . .

MOST people would not claim Jim Jordan is representative of the typical Congressional representative. of course she’s not, because he only represents the very conservative people in his tortured and twisted gerrymander district.

Another example, how is the federal government MORE representative of native Americans’ interest when many are unable to vote because reservations often use a PO Box system instead of phsycial street addresses:

“Native American groups in North Dakota are scrambling to help members acquire new addresses, and new IDs, in the few weeks remaining before Election Day — the only way that some residents will be able to vote.

This week, the Supreme Court declined to overturn North Dakota’s controversial voter ID law, which requires residents to show identification with a current street address. A P.O. box does not qualify.

Many Native American reservations, however, do not use physical street addresses. Native Americans are also overrepresented in the homeless population, according to the Urban Institute. As a result, Native residents often use P.O. boxes for their mailing addresses and may rely on tribal identification that doesn’t list an address.”

THE PO BOX EXAMPLE ABOVE IS YOUR GOP DEINFRANCHISING VOTERS
