Most of the throws he’s required to make in the Gators’ offense require anticipation and timing. When the bowl game came around all the guys, every starting receiver and tight end, that he’s used to throwing too were gone. They all opted out. He has several throws where he clearly thought the receiver was going to be at a certain spot and he wasn’t, including a pick. Reminded me of Brady’s first game with us. Timing means a lot, and it wasn’t there in that game. So judging him from that one versus what he did to Alabama, is just ridiculous, especially when you remember that bowl game came so quickly after the SEC championship.
