Another thing I don’t like about Trask is his age. One of the older QB’s coming out at 23. So let’s say he sits for 2 years, half way through the rookie contract he will already be 25 without playing a snap.
All other highly rated QB’s coming out were 21-22. So that limits his ceiling even more to go along with his lack of athleticism and weak arm. He’s only a year older than Josh Rosen who was a high pick and has been basically tossed out of the NFL already and was on our practice squad.
His age doesn’t bother me like it would a RB or WR. If he’s a good QB, he’ll be in the league 15+ years.
