You “weak arm” guys really need to stop reading what the “experts” say and just watch the film. Dude dropped dime with 40+ air yards with regularity. You don’t do that with a weak arm. You just don’t. His occasional floater is more due to him having a moderate issue with the way he uses his core to throw. Something that can be fixed, and something that was less of an issue in 2020 then it was in 2019. He came off the bench in 2019 and was night and day better than Franks (off the cannon arm tribe) and got a lot better in 2020. To believe he’s already tapped out on his potential is just ludicrous.
I saw the same thing. He has zero issue pushing the ball downfield, and I’d actually say his mid to deep accuracy/ball placement is one of his biggest strengths. The only place I could see his arm being an issue is zipping into tight spaces…the red zone and so on. He certainly doesn’t have the highest velocity ball I’ve ever seen.
