I see the points both sides of this argument are making, but I would lean towards agreeing with Larry Suit Java’s side of the fence.Don't think it was a horrible pick, but from a utility standpoint average at best. It's not fair to judge the outcome on the results yet as Sims is injured (that'd be situation hindsight bias). And I'm not a draftnik so I'm not sure of Sims' BPA advantage at the time of his pick, but I feel they could have easily addressed other needs with the pick. Feel it would have more prudent to have even added depth to the defense with a comparably rated talent than add to the RB core. I think the OC's ambition might have clouded the overall judgement.And yeah, we still definitely needed more RB depth. Rainey did NOT overly impress last year. And James is made of glass.
