If Glennon is much better and deserves to be the starter (despite recent performance) then he will be back soon, after we have another loss or two. So, what's the big deal?
Lovie would look even more inept if he went back to Glennon yet again. Unless McCown gets injured there's no way Glennon sees the field again this season, making the switch again would provide further proof that Lovie needs to be let go.
I don't know, it actually makes sense to go back to Glennon if they keep losing. As it stands they aren't technically out of it yet, since the nfc south sucks. The vet thinks he has something to prove, so Lovie throws him back in to see if it sparks something. If it doesn't you may as well let the younger guy play it out.
