Currently Carolina has a pitiful receiver core. Newton's going to really struggle unless they bring some bodies in there to catch the football. They don't have a single WR on their roster that caught a pass last year. That's insane. Their D will be good but right now you can't look at them and see playoff team until they get their LT and WR situations figured out.
Its too early in the offseason to say Newton will struggle cause of his WR corps.
