I can't disagree, but if all the players had longer records of sustained success they'd cost one and a half to two times what we're paying for them. So we're hopefully being smart, getting in on the ground floor, and getting ascending players who in a year will be considered underpaid.

True. That was the Dominik method and even that method yields plenty of free agent busts!!!!!Honestly, this is the only way to do it. They have done a great job of identifying players who are on the rise. Experience tells us that all of these players are not going to work out great for us but by doing it this way we have a much greater risk/reward.
