He’s not wrong that a defense can win 8 games. Just look at the Bills (1 in Defensive DVOA, 26 in offensive DVOA). SF and Detroit are similarly lopsided in terms of defense and offense this year. Problem is going beyond that. I think he's drafting a QB in round 1 and keeping McCown. He can give out all the happy talk about Glennon he wants, but actions speak louder than words. They know what they've got with him and they don't want it.
