Point being, ...we were set back years, AND wasted draft picks, for a qb who was supposed to of "good value" at 16.Why not dip in once in awhile? Any "risk" you take (at any spot) can set your team back years anyway.Why not just go for gold? We've had either druggies or wannabe overachevers for the last ten years! While other teams sucked enough to get their guy, or took a "risk" and went to playoffs.People like to throw rgthree out there, but I knew he wasn't very good to begin with.
It was #17 wasn't it? He looked the part big time, and I guess their thinking was, the light will go on pretty soon for him. But it never did, and it cost him his starting gig, and cost the GM his job.
