Lovie has made his own problem at qb. He had manziel, teddy, and carr sitting right in front of him. Did nothing.Wtf was lovie thinking? What..my buddy will have my back? Welcome to the real world lovie.. Doesn't matter if dan marino was your bff, if he's old..what's the point? He'll either get injured (which happened), or time will just run out on him before he can actually get acquainted with the newer offense/system.It was stupid, and all lovie's fault. As we watch manziel, teddy and carr, we can all think "what if" yet again.
Other than "look really really really good" while putting up mediocre numbers and losing every game he's played, what in the hell has Carr done? Now, Teddy and Johnny sting. Especially Teddy. Would've given up a pick and VJAX to get back in. Him and Evans couldve been special.
It didn't cost the Vikings much to trade into the spot to draft Bridgewater. They sent the Seahawks their second round pick (No. 40 overall) and fourth round pick (No. 108) so they could draft Teddy.More on topic, I think the Bucs are more dangerous with Glennon as the QB, and I don't have fond memories of McCown. There's not much of a future here for McCown--he'll never be QBing the Bucs to a playoff spot. Perhaps the statement by Lovie is motivational. Perhaps he has given up on Glennon. I believe the former is the better guess.
