Lovie fears he will get fired and he feels that McCown gives him the best chance to win
I disagree that he fears that he will get fired, but I think there is definite pressure from ownership to win now, and that is what is driving the change.
So pressure from management to win now doesn't equal fear that he'll get fired?
I think the pressure from management is consistent with their expectations from the offseason. The brand was relaunched, and they want quick wins to support it. JMO of course.And if they don't get those wins quick... then what? They fire Lovie, right?
