Schiano had a hell of an impact on the defense.
To be honest, I'm not even entirely convinced that that was true. He had a healthier, more talented defense that hadn't given up on him. I'm not sure it really makes sense to draw too much of a comparison to that last stretch under Morris. It still wasn't really all that great of a defense.
