I really, really don't think that anyone is suggesting that Freeman was a good quarterback this season. It's just that the team never looked like a good, well-coached team with quarterback issues. It looked like a crappy, ill-prepared, undisciplined team with antiquated philosophies that couldn't adjust to its opponents. And had quarterback issues. At least, that's how it looked to me. Trying to pin all the team's woes on Freeman, regardless of how toxic he was, just seems short-sighted.
