Sims also came very close to transferring to Cal, tedford wasn’t coaching anymore but i believe he was still around the program, it was between Cal and WVA, and he went to WVA. Seems tedford knows him well and wouldn’t let him get away this time, I think the guy is a great player but it seems we could have used that pick elsewhere to help the team out more (OG, DL, LB, WR, CB)
