This is a typical Mariota game with 4 total TDs and no ints. But I honestly dont see that much of anything that special besides a couple of throws and the elite mobility. Its just very easy to him. Put him on a bad team like the Bucs and it will be something completely new to him and I think its likely hed fail. Winston on a bad team like the Bucs and I believe itll look a lot like this gameOline not giving him the easiest job in the world, forces and makes some bad decisions. But ultimately puts the team on his back and shreds them to a victory. know Winston can read defenses, has great vision and anticipation, good ball placement and he too has mobility to avoid a sack.I know mariota can take off running for lots of yards and has a really good arm on the run. I dont know if he can read defenses well, and i dont know if he look good at all in an NFL game.

This. I am not anti-Mariota. In fact, I would welcome him to Tampa with open arms. But watch this film of Winston and count how many pro throws he makes under EXTREME duress from the pass rush. He forced a couple of throws, especially early, but otherwise this was one of the most impressive performances I have seen from a college QB. Notre Dame had this game planned perfectly, and Winston just shredded them. Oh, and for those saying Winston plays with a loaded team, watch some games. His running game has come on strong in the second half of the season, but was nonexistent early. His Freshmen receivers were very raw, and continue to struggle with drops and poor routes. His o-line was very inconsistent, and he played half the season with an ankle injury that definitely influenced his performance. Now, he might be a knucklehead. After all, where there is smoke, there is fire. I don't know what kind of character the kid has, and I'll leave that question to be answered by those who have the opportunity to dig and get the real details. If he is deemed too risky, then I can definitely live with that determination. That said, dude has some serious skills as a passer. He is obviously a heck of a leader and winner on the field. He has swagger this team hasn't had since Sapp left. I'd take him in a heart beat if he passes the due diligence screenings. If he doesn't, then I'll gladly root for the Duck!
