Two plays sum up the refs (13th man) desire for the Skittlehawks to win: 1. the long 3rd down pass late in the game where there WR did not maintain full control of the ball 2. the Colston lateral play-- the refs whistled that play dead!!! I've NEVER seen a "forward lateral" play whistled dead...EVER!!!!!!
You've never seen a forward pass whistled dead? That explains a lot. <---????????? weird replyThe only place where a "forward lateral" exists is in sandlot ball. A pass is either forward, backward or lateral. <---um, no, wrong. A QB can be 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage and "forward lateral"(underhanded) a ball to a running back who is 1 yard behind the line of scrimmage. If the ball gets dropped/muffed, it's a live ball-- not an incomplete pass. That explains a lot.
