This is SCARY....and sounds exactly like the defense we've been playing. Smith and Frazier are WAY to much alike...no signs of outward passion, no fire, no motivation....IMO, Lovie's "calmness" needs to balanced by someone at the other extreme, especially on defense. Lovie's "no emotion" needs to be balanced by an emotional coach like a Greg Williams or Ryan brother, or someone willing to get in someone's face, and show some GD'd enthusiasm....this is NOT working on defense at every single level...something HAS to change, and, apparently, its not gonna be the scheme.
