          While we’re killing time before TC, here’s a crazy idea that should be doable to aid coaches in evaluating blockers in OTA’s before actual man-on-man hitting is allowed by the CBA is remote-controlled blocking sleds. They would better simulate onrushing defenders in space than the old static sleds. I’m curious if anything like this has ever been tried…

      Im not saying its a bad idea…and Im sure it has been thought of.  But, the cost associated with something like that you would only use during OTAs is probably not worth it.  Once camp hits, and for the rest of the year, its better to go with contact from real players.

          Yeah, and the violent hits on the sled could do a number on the receiver or antenna too… LOL; if Belichick reads this site, he’ll be trying it for sure…  ;D

      Isn't that basically a line coach with a body bag? Get two or three together and simulate a pass rush? I've seen coaches do this.
