I know betting on preseason is dumb, but Im doing it anyways! Tampa is 1.5 ppoint underdogs and the over/under is 37. The under usually makes sense in early preseason but I really like the over in our game. Both teams have veteran backup QBs who I think will play well, and Pitt will be trying to break in their backup recievers so they will be throwing a lot. We also have a lot of young defenders who wont be playing. So im going with parlay Pitt and the over. Does anyone disagree? Thoughts?

Trying to predict preseason games? LOL… it’s a crapshoot.

I’d just bet the over straight up… trying to pick a winner without having seen the teams is a toss up. Also not knowing the actual snap counts for the backups and the 3rd team makes it a pickem.

I think I just talked myself into putting money on the Over lol

If I was going to parlay I’d take the Bucs +1.5 and the Over (just because of homerism)

The reason I say over is because our offensive scheme is vertical and our defense is aggressive. The Steelers have an aggressive defense scheme as well… so there will be big plays positive and negative on both sides… I expect the offenses to be able to score on shortened fields often due to turnovers generated… 21-17 gets you Over… I don’t see that being an issue.

I agree the over is the best bet.  I think our defenders at the bottom of the roster might get exposed.

I think their defense will as well on the bottom half of their roster. Our WR room is apparently deep with talent so I expect this game to go over 37 fairly easily. Plus Ryan Griffin has always been good in the Pre-Season… granted it’s a new offense… but last year he was 51 of 75 (68%) for 518 yards 4 TDs and no Ints 105.3 QBR in 4 preseason games. He can deliver a pretty ball against 2nd and 3rd team defenders… so our young WR’s are going to get some good looks. Just hope the O-Line holds up lol

Over/under for fans on this board who want to send Winston packing when he throws his first interception?

Pre Season betting  isn’t as tough as it might seem.

      The Key is the coach.

      Some coaches like to win.

For other coaches they really don’t care about pre-season scores.

In the Bucs vs Pitt, there is no clear cut choice.    Pass

Feel better about the Vikings or maybe SF.

Remain intimately at the heart of experience.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Maybe the Bucs are a little salty about the loss last year? It was the game Chris Conte got stiff armed into retirement haha</p>

I actually won all my bets yesterday… i never put major money on pre-season action… i literally just play around with change. I throw a couple dollars here and there. My biggest win was $40 I put $11 on a parlay TB v Pit Over 37 + Min v NO over 37. I won $5 placing $1 on TB at +2 point spread parlayed with the Over 37… I won about another $20 on a round robin that had overs on both games and the TB and Vikings covering the point spread…

I wish i would have actually bet big money but pre season is too much of a toss up for me. Over Unders are pretty easy to pick because they are usually super low lol take the overs when you see good coach versus good coach… players end up bad on bad 3rd team versus 3rd team… so points are going to be scored.

      How did everyone else do?

Take your chances and try it. Personally, I am not too much into betting. In my opinion, you can make more money on poker or blackjack. Moreover, while betting, everything depends on the teams that are playing, you have only to choose between those two teams. That is why I rather play poker than bet because in poker everything depends on you and on your behavior. I can’t wait till the casinos will be open again because today I usually play on แทงบอล.
