Hugh Culverhouse was a disgraceful owner. Let Doug Williams go over $400,000. Would rarely resign our talent at the end of rookie contracts and draft cheaper replacements. Hugh should have never been an owner, he had no passion to win. It was always about the bottom dollar.

Mad at an organization that currently has ZERO ties to his era and time of plight?

Keep driving that Kia, Bo. Silly as hell.

It’s a shame we didn’t try to pull off a Herschel Walker type deal with Bo since he stated he would never play for the Bucs, but i’m not sure papa C would have wanted to pay for all that talent.

If he’d come to Tampa he would never have had a broken hip and may still be playing today. Fuck him for jilting us. He was a good pro but could have been all time. Dumb decisions will always come back to bite you in the ass. Also, fuck him for stirring up a phony Jameis Winston controversy while Jameis was at FSU. He’s probably the best athlete with no championships ever. He asked for it.

Interesting how the media (in this case, USA Today), completely gets a pass from you guys for even bringing up this long-dead story. Somebody looking for a story decided it would be easy to stir things up again, obviously. At that young an age and a negro out of the deep south, Bo was no more a businessman than Culverhouse was an NFL wizard. All Bo knew then was he’d been screwed over the NCAA issue, and he wanted revenge. And he got it.  Bo needs to let the whole thing die; just tell the media it’s ancient history, next question, or decline the interview… I have read Barry Sanders was hounded so much by the media over his early retirement from the NFL, he refused all interviews for years. Maybe Bo should do the same…

Bo is a liar and full of shit. F#@k Bo Jackson! Bo thought he could do whatever he wanted to, because he was Bo Jackson. Does he really want people to believe that with all his coaches, assistant coaches, trainers, conditioning coaches, both football and baseball, Athletic Director, teammates, counselors, friends, family………no one knew or told him he shouldn’t get on that plane? Bullshit!

How’d that hip work out for ya Bo? ABuccsFan knows that if you were playing on a different field that day, you’d be in the NFL and MLB HoF. But you chose to be a jackass.

Yup.. Jameis’s response to Bo was.. “Why should I listen to Bo now after he has not been there for me my entire life?”

Bo creating a scenario in his head to avoid acknowledging his own stupidity.

This is true.     We all do it to a degree….  Overtime, this dreamed up scenario makes him sleep better at night.  No one wants to wake up one morning and realize they are just stupid.

The common mob mentality of fans that only see wrong in players. It was an a$$hole move to draft him when he clearly stated he didn’t won’t to come here and it did effect his football career. These were the same owners that only cared about selling tickets and did very little to prevent us from being a laughing stock for decades.
