Tom Brady is not only the greatest QB in our lifetime but is also it’s greatest player. Better than Jim Brown? I’d say so. Why? Because he wins games. Pre-season games, regular season games, playoff games and Super Bowl games. No matter the situation he plays to win and delivers. Clearly he is the best.

How does he do it? I believe he defines himself as a professional football player. Meaning he takes it seriously every day of the year. This is a man who wins at practice. Every day. We all know that those who work hard at practice play better. Tom plays great at practice and even better in games. I think this is something Jameis has in common with him. I’m betting Jameis is working on his game today. Every day. Tom Brady does not quit. No matter the odds or situation Tom plays to win the damn game. It’s as if there is no doubt in his mind his team will win the game. Even behind 28-3 he played to win. Teammates follow that. Teammates want to play on Tom’s level and as a result they believe too. Jameis Winston does not quit. He always plays to win and battles for an entire game. His teammates see this and buy in.

Tom Brady is more experienced, more accurate with his passes and without doubt the best QB to lace up the cleats. Jameis Winston is going to be entering his third season is not even the best QB in the NFC South…… yet. But Buccaneer fans should be very pleased to know that our QB has Tom’s most valuable attributes in common with him. His professional attitude/work ethic and a never say die will to win games.

And that is a very good thing.

He is without a doubt the best player of the last couple decades. Beyond that is a discussion that no one will win. How can anyone weight different rules, dynamics, and even play styles? No clue but I’m sure you’ll tell me right? You’ve got all the answers so please do continue. We’ll wait……

OK I’ll clarify. He is without doubt the best I’ve seen through the last 55 odd years. From Bart Starr to Tom Brady including GREAT Hall of Famers like Roger Staubach, Johnny Unitas, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Steve Young, Joe Namath, Fran Tarkenton and more. It’s true that rules change, the size of the players has changed along the trenches etc. But when the game is on the line there has been nobody BETTER than Tom Brady IMO. I imagine that’s the opinion of most people who have watched and enjoyed the game as long as I have. This is not to take away anything from guys like the above and Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, Dan Fouts or ANY other Hall of Famer. I’m simply typing I’ve seen nobody better and with five Super Bowl wins including four Super Bowl MVP Awards and seven Super Bowl appearances Tom Brady is, in my opinion, the best to ever play the game.

Funny, I thought message boards were about fan’s opinions. Seriously now, is there something else bothering you of a personal nature. You seem rather disturbed. Just another opinion dear.

Brady is the best. Never saw a QB that could make mediocre receivers look so good. Year after year. That isn’t luck.

I hate the Patriots but agree with the OP. I’m 49 years old and have never seen anyone even close to Brady.

And, yes, I think JW possesses some similar traits.
