      Thank God Jason Licht finally accomplished something if we had let Evans out of here it would crushed this team after this upcoming season he deserved this money big time who know maybe the reason Licht hasn’t done shit so far is because he was getting this hashed out now focus on getting Poe and Trumaine Johnson in this damn house

      I was in the tiny minority that Bucs should be okay with letting Evans walk if he commanded a ludicrous deal. But with the current cap raise, and getting this deal done before hes a FA with Beckham inflating the market – 16.5 for 5 years.. finally something we can all be happy about. Good to know we’ll have Evans in a buc uni for many years now. Amazing thing for him.. hes gonna be under 30 after this contract.

      La Canfora’s report has it being pretty front-loaded ($38.3 million guaranteed in the first two years, first three years average $18 million). That seems like a good thing from my point of view.

      I don’t agree with signing receivers to big money in general. But if you’re going to, this is the right situation for it. Jameis Winston is the type of QB that needs big, skilled targets to throw to. And if you know you’re gonna keep him, go ahead and pay him before the market creeps up even more.
