The NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves have the worst winning percentage in the history of US sports. The Timberwolves winning percentage dropped to 0.393 this week, falling below the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (whose win-loss record is 278-429-1) as the most unsuccessful active sports franchise in the country.

We also have the largest average margin of victories in super bowls.

Only 1 of 2 franchises (ravens) undefeated in super bowls with minimum 2 appearances.

Brady has more super bowls then any 1 franchise.

      Craziness.

There are no worse distinctions than being the worst in all sports.

How many teams have 0 super bowls? 12ish?

We were one of the worst until 2002, absolutely.

We have 2 super bowls now.

        Not one, two..

How many teams in the 4 major sports have 0 championships?

        I’d guess..50+?

We haven’t been the worst in a longggg time.

Worst in the regular season? Fine.

I betcha Lions or Browns fans would give their left nut for a super bowl!

If I’m guaranteed a super bowl every 18-20 years I think that will sustain me over all the terrible years.

Though with Licht rolling in the draft hopefully we wont be a bottom dweller for a long time, even after Brady.

Trust me I know about this stat. I’m a wolves fan and their owner might be the worst in sports (Dolan is up there too). Wolves won’t be good until Glen Taylor sells the team.

He even pissed KG off. The one all time great player we had.

I’m not saying I would trade a Super Bowl for not being the team with the lowest winning percentage team, I am just saying it is the worst distinction in sports. It’s the answer to a horrible trivia question!

@DEBUCSNOW, close 13 in the NBA, 12 in the NFL, 11 in the NHL, 6 in the MLB. Only off by 8.

Great!!! Next step….. climb out of the cellar of the NFL’s all-time winning percentage. From what I’ve seen, this team has closed the gap in recent years, especially this past year.
