return guys are overrated imo, gimme a surehanded guy and some blocking. we do seem to be attempting to work on both. i still worry that odea is the issue.the net TO stat is pretty impressive considering some of the dumb TOs our offense has had.

Rainey has done a great job making plays on punts that we would have seen a lot of our previous returners let bounce or fair catch. All of the confidence in the world in Rainey as a returner and a RB if he get’s on the field.

I think he's just caught up in a #'s game behind Sims & Martin. He wouldn't have more snaps than he currently does, if he wasn't the returner.

I'll eat crow on that. Rainey has two catches so far while Sims has five. Jackson leads with 7. I think they are going to be involved in the offense a lot more than people think.

Rainey would still be a good number one rb, should martin go down.His only real issue, imo, is that he occasionally fumbles. We're going to hate it when he finally does on st.
