Martin WallaceHeight: 6-6Weight: 29640: 5.34Year: 4SrSchool: TemplePosition: TBio: Four-year starter at left and right tackle who began his career at Northeastern. All- Conference selection as a senior.Positive: Strong offensive lineman best in a small area. Stays square and turns defenders from the action to open up running lanes. Plays with good lean, quickly sets up off the snap, then keeps his feet moving. Works his hands throughout the action, jolts opponents with good punch, and anchors at the point.Negative: Struggles in pass protection and lacks top footwork off the edge. Stiff and not a natural knee bender.Analysis: Wallace is a hard-working lineman who gets the most from his ability. He has the strength and tenacity to make a roster as an inexpensive utility backup at several offensive line positions.

Needs work on his footwork….Agility isn’t his strong point…

At this stage, we are dealing with leftovers, unless we can pull off a trade, which noone’s going to do unless we pay dearly…

People are surprised that he’s not Tony Boselli? For f--k's sake - he's a practice squad guy. Maybe he doesn't work out, but he's shown at least enough to hang around the NFL as a developmental guy. That's not nothing.

I like this pickup.  According to the Panthers bio he did some work on special teams.
