Not sure how willing Pittsburgh will be to trade Haden. But Bucs should already be on the phone with the Texans seeing what the Texans want for King.

This DB core is destroyed and for some reason we decided to put Carlton Davis in on STs…

What would it cost in players/draft choices and do the Bucs have the cap space for one of these players?

Cap space not really at the moment. Would require someone to restructure.

Id offer trask, OJ, picks. Possibly Brate once gronk is healthy.

I have no problem mortgaging the future to help us repeat. We already are with all these backloaded contacts.

unfortunately we can just keep trading/signing elite players when injuries happen.

Wonder what Darrelle Revis is doing? lol just kidding

if Dean can come back this week, i am not as worried but ultimately the hope is SMB and CD can come back before playoffs.

      Exactly.

The “trade Trask” talks are moronic. But, not nearly as much as shopping Brate or OJ, all while Gronk is nursing multiple broken ribs and a punctured lung.

“Hey, our TE group has a history of injuries. Let’s trade depth at that position”.

      Derp…

that…plus their trade values are nothing.

for the bucs to get a decent cornerback, it would cost them at least a third round pick and $15M in cap space.

you just need to hope injuries get better.

The answer is that we need to score even more points to cover this up and hope playing some crummy QB’s will mitigate the damage that can be done.

Trask could fetch some cornerback on a losing squad. If he has so much potential then surely other teams will see that as well.

Doesn’t have to be a stud corner. A serviceable one would do nicely right now. Or a safety.

Anything but a second round QB rotting in the pine for years. So stupid.

Dude : If Trask wasn’t on the Team, I fear you would have nothing to say.

King makes tons of sense with his low cap hit and fact that Texans are sellers. I hope they’d accept a 4th or worse, but I could see them pushing for a third.

I think you are being dramatic here. I have had plenty to say.

      Fuck the gators. Go Bucs.

Go get that cornerback, trade Trask! Increases the chances of winning a super bowl!

      Trask < Superbowls

some teams are poorly run like a few decades ago when the Dolphins gave the Eagles a second round pick for AJ Feeley who played good for like 4 games.

I feel teams have gotten smarter with draft picks since that time. let’s assess who would potentially want to unload a player for Trask. Also will teams even consider him a potential future option.

AFC East – Josh Allen, Tua, Mac Jones, and Zach Wilson all appear to be the future here. If Dolphins move on from Tua, might be an option.

AFC North – Lamar Jackson, Baker, Big Ben, Joe Borrow – Only team that will need a QB is the Steelers

AFC West – Mahomes, Carr, Herbert, Teddy B – Denver may be a team

AFC South – Lawrence, D. Mills, Wentz, Tannehill – Unlikely the Colts give up on Wentz after one year. D. Mills was drafted right after Trask and they likely view as equally as helpless.

NFC South – Darnold, Ryan, Winston – Atlanta would likely be looking for first rounder next year and would be the only option honestly. Would we even trade within the division? Saints may move on from Winston.

NFC East – Hurts, Prescott, Jones, Heinieke – This division will likely have 3 teams in the market for a QB next year.

NFC North – Rodgers, Goff, Fields, Cousins – Goff and Cousins can be upgraded but unlikely that Trask will change a franchise. Packers will roll with Love if Rodgers moves on

NFC West – Stafford, Wilson, Trey Lance, Murray – No changes here

so total teams with limited interest would be Denver, Houston, New Orleans, Miami, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Minnesota, Lions, Giants, Eagles, and Washington.

that is 11 teams total and assume that Jimmy G, Aaron Rodgers, and Deshaun Watson land starting jobs knocking out say Denver, Philadelphia, and let’s go with the Lions.

That gets us down to 8 teams of which say there’s 4 first round QBs taken which gets us down to 4 teams. Will those 4 teams decide to roll with what they have, draft a player in 2nd or 3rd round, sign a journeyman QB, or trade anything of value for Trask

in all likelyhood, unless Trask were to get some film in the NFL, in which we certainly dont hope that happens given what that would mean for the Messiah; his value depreciated significantly once he was drafted like a luxury car be driven off the lot.
