Bucs need dl,rb ,lb help now and in that order.
Sucks they don’t have 4th rd pick, such a deep draft.

Basically a 2,3 and a 5..ml will probably trade 7s to move up

Maybe 4 more total picks ,and a boat load of undrafted rookie free agents

It’s a good thing they have one hell of a head coach. For all the power they had coming into this draft, they really blew it imo.

A look at the remainder of Aaron Rodgers’ contract:
2020: $1.55M salary, ($19.5M roster bonus already paid)
    2021: $14.7M salary, $6.5M roster bonus (non-guaranteed)
    2022: $25M salary (non-guaranteed)
    2023: $25M salary (non-guaranteed)

He has an annual $500K workout bonus too.

    Love will sit 1 year,maybe 2

Like them both, stidham was my top qb when he came out. Jordan love favorite this year…louton second fav

    Jim Nagy
    @JimNagy_SB
#Patriots trading back rather than picking Jordan Love is confirmation they believe Jarrett Stidham deserves the chance to be “the guy” in ‘20. Love was only QB left on the board with physical talent to challenge Stidham. Pats must’ve felt Love wasn’t ready to do that this year

Posted this in the wrong thread. Meant to post it in this thread (since BucD deleted, I’ll post the link for context…also, you didn’t have to do that @BucD …This was actually the appropriate area…I screwed up!):

    http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300000 … irst-round

That was the backup plan, however, and it wasn’t necessary: The Cardinals selected Simmons and, at 9:12 p.m., the Jags were officially on the clock. Caldwell, who was about to contact Henderson and inform the former Florida cornerback of his impending selection, instead fielded another call — from Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Jason Licht, who was looking to move up from the 14th pick. After a very quick conversation, Caldwell said to the Khans (who were on their yacht) and Marrone (who was home with his family), “Tampa would give us a third and a fourth, and he wants us to give a 6 back. I don’t really want to give the 6 back.”

Did we miss out on Wills due to haggling over a (pretty much the same as UDFA priority) 6th round pick?

    Yikes, if true.

I like Wirfs…but Wills is a much better RT prospect in both Pass Protection and in the Run Game. The difference between the two as substantial enough that I would have made that trade (and not worried about the 6th holding it up).

Costing us our 3rd would have been crappy…but…worth it in my opinion because we could have traded back in the 2nd (still gotten a great prospect due to the depth there) to basically re-accrue that 3rd round pick. Hmmmm…

Wirfs may end up a nice player, fact is imo they panicked, he is not good as a run blocker, his year did NOT match his combine….and he is not ready to start.

Wirfs, imo ,is jason smith from Baylor a cpl years back…sucked as a run blocker, nice in paas pro, wowed them with his athletic ability. Out of league after a cpl years.
