      Bucs rookie wide receiver Mike Evans is focused on getting himself in training camp shape and has forgone an offseason of vacation and travel to train with some current NFL players.       Seems like a smart kid. And one who also seems to be (so far) a student of the game.I think LNL nabbed a good one. Just knowing that he's working hard on his nfl skills (there is a huge transition for wideouts), and that he understands he can work harder, and admit it publicly, says a lot about his character imo.

      I think this bodes well for our new #2 wide receiver. Apparently Jackson has impressed upon him the need to get in the best shape of his life in order to play well for a 16 NFL schedule, something a lot of rookies don’t understand. Color me impressed.BTW, it's funny to read some of the knee-jerk articles that have come out of this. Some of these articles paint Evans, completely out of shape and overweight. Good grief, he only wants to lose 5 pounds people! He's not the second coming of JaMarkus Russell!

      Love this kid's drive.

      Yup. Dedication to the game is the start of something great.He has the physical tools, seems to have the drive, now all he needs to do is understand the system. If he can do that, we have a monster wideout.

      Him and VJ are 2 big time wide outs who can beat the one on one, block, and catch the jump balls as good as anyone.If McCown does his thing Tampa will be back on the map because of offense.
