Pretty fascinating reading. I’ve always known that our fan base was right-leaning, but I didn’t think the Bucs ranked #1 and by such a large margin.+2-1Rating: +1. From 3 votes.Please wait...Sep. 29, 2017 at 3:43 pm #1028142AnonymousInactive
That is pretty surprising. Would not have guessed that. Would have thought a mid-west team would be more so.+10Rating: +1. From 1 vote. Please wait...Sep. 29, 2017 at 8:39 pm #1028184Havok904Participant

In my above post you can see that the vast majority of Republicans think the players should stand (90%), but the Democrats are rather unsure about their stance (43% of Democrats think they should stand, 41% think they shouldn’t, and 16 % are unsure.) and Non-Partisans are at 60%.
For anyone thinking this issue falls directly on party lines, it seems clear that while one major party is in almost unanimous agreement about the kneeling, the other party seems closer to being split down the middle, with the remnant being just unsure what to think on the matter.
This is not as clear a division as I originally thought. I actually think this shows a more conservative stance on this issue than you might think just by listening to media reports about it.
What all sides seem to agree on is that they want LESS politics in sports (89% Republicans, 69% of Democrats and 82% Non-Partisan).+40Rating: +4. From 4 votes. Please wait...Sep. 29, 2017 at 10:33 pm #1028207TheChronicHotAirParticipant
Bucs fans dislike the Democratic Party more than any fanbase around.

A Philadelphia Eagle fan that is Republican, will still douse you with beer and try to beat your ass. That’s even if they know that you are a Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan that is Republican. Then go back to drinking with their buddy who is Democrat. So what does that say?+1-2Rating: -1. From 3 votes. Please wait...Sep. 30, 2017 at 7:20 am #1028237Patrick J EllsworthParticipant
Everything makes sense now. I hate both parties — I’m a registered Independent — but Reagan poisoned the GOP and it’s just gotten worse. Today’s Republican is one of the great American embarrassments.+7-8Rating: -1. From 15 votes. Please wait...Sep. 30, 2017 at 8:31 am #1028249Bucpride5Participant

What I meant to say was, “Today’s Republican Party is a national embarrassment,” not today’s republicans. Of course, there are many fine republicans.+3-3Rating: 0. From 6 votes. Please wait...Sep. 30, 2017 at 6:31 pm #1028344GottaJabooBlocked
