Tampa Bay Buccaneers Complete 2014 NFL Mock DraftBy Erik Lambert - Apr 29th, 2014 at 9:50 pm mock_zps91bb8304.jpgSep 7, 2013; College Station, TX Texas A&M Aggies wide receiver Mike Evans (13) stands on the field during the second quarter against the Sam Houston State Bearkats at Kyle Field. Troy Taormina-USA TODAY SportsFree agency remade the Tampa Bay Buccaneers roster.  Will this 2014 NFL mock draft show how they can bring it all together? #7 – Mike Evans – WR – Texas A&M I for one believe the Johnny Manziel talk is a smokescreen.  Their needs at wide receiver are far more urgent than quarterback.  So they take Manziel’s Texas A&M teammate Mike Evans.  Pairing his 6’5? frame and explosive lower body with Pro Bowler Vincent Jackson is something that can have an immediate impact on 2014. #38 – Teddy Bridgewater – QB – Louisville The second round is much more practical for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to seek out their quarterback.  If they stay patient they might get lucky.  Given that his stock has continued to plummet since a lackluster pro day a month ago, Teddy Bridgewater is projected to go as low as the early second round now.  Getting him might be the steal of the draft. #69 – Antonio Richardson – OT – Tennessee The offensive line underwent changes in free agency but it’s unclear if they were for the better yet.  Either way the unit still needs work at tackle and guard.  Antonio Richardson is a big, heavy-handed and nimble tackle out of Tennessee with the ability to almost any position up front. #143 – Ross Cockrell – CB – Duke Lovie Smith doesn’t need his corners to be outstanding press coverage athletes.  He needs them to be smart, tough and able to take the ball away.  Ross Cockrell won’t win award for speed but he showed at Duke he can frustrate receivers in coverage and has a nose for the football when it’s in the air. #185 – Tevin Reese – WR – Baylor While Evans will make a home on the outside, Baylor burner Tevin Reese can become their dynamic option in the slot.  He’s still very raw and unrefined but the speed and soft hands he showed on tape can be easily utilized by a smart offensive coordinator. #221 – Larry Webster – DE – Bloomsburg A dominant Division II pass rusher, Larry Webster has been on the radar of experts for months.  His sheer frame is impressive by itself, having several characteristics of Julius Peppers.  The current problem is he’s underdeveloped.  He has to get bigger and stronger before his true potential can be unlocked.  The Tampa Bay Buccaneers would do well to put him under the guidance of Smith.http://nflmocks.com/2014/04/29/tampa-bay-buccaneers-complete-2014-nfl-mock-draft-2/

I’ll take those first two picks for sure! Still not buying that Teddy will fall that far.

I’d love this draft. Tiny Richardson can play guard he’d be good there.

In the event that we don’t make any trades, this seems very realistic, wouldn’t be surprised if our draft ended up very close to this.  That said, I think they will look to move around the board

Still don’t like Evans or any WR that high. Rest of the draft is pretty spiffy.

I don’t see Teddy getting past the qb needy teams in front of us if they pass on them in the first.

Would be pretty happy with this draft, but would love to scoot back a bit, grab a fourth and have it go like this:1. Donald2. Bridgewater3. Jarvis Landry4. OG5. Colt Lyerla...But I agree that I don't think Teddy falls that far. If we got those were our first three picks we're well on our way to dynasty status IMHO.

Dude is dropping like a rock off a skyscraper.  IDK what it is, but its seems to be spreading league wide. His body language is terrible. I have seen a few interviews where coaches are talking to him, and it looks like he is close to tears. Its all very Freeman-esque.

Keep it going...  all he has to do is get to 7.

Not a big fan myself.  Especially after the Freeman experience, Buc fans should be very wary of a guy with zero leadership capabilities. Maybe at another position you can get away with that, but not at QB.

This draft would be great… but to think Teddy makes it past Cleveland 2 more times after we pick, past AZ, Houston’s 2 rounder, Oakland’s 2nd rounder, Jacksonville’s 2nd rounder? Naaaaaaaah I don’t think so. I still think he goes top 15.

Are we still trying to knock his stock down or do you really not like him?  :-If it's the latter, I'd like a source on the almost crying, no leadership skills, and poor body language.

I understand the bias that Freeman presents all of us....  But Zero leadership capabilities?    That is an unsupported opinion.

Just watch his interviews. Watch him with Gruden. Its nothing new, his combine interviews were a major fail.
