Wilkerson for Glennon is a pipe dream, not to mention Wilkerson isn’t really an edge rusher. Shane Ray was a DE in a college, and a good one at that. He’s likely stuck on the bench in Denver for a few more years. They could use Glennon. I’d be for this deal.

What team does Glendon play for?

Glennon however is not worth a 1st round pick.Ware is probably retiring after this season so Ray will be next on the block to start as well as being a rotation guy this year.Pipedream.

InactiveMar. 26, 2016 at 10:05 pmPost count: 698They can’t TRADE Shane Ray he would cost 1.597M against their CAP this YEAR they already have 7.2M in DEAD CAP MONEY! And they also need to clear another 6.6M for their 2016 DRAFT (PRE DRAFT! Before they even get there!).That doesn't even take in the salary of Glennon who makes 1.67M in 2016....So, under this TRADE scenario the Bronco's would need to lose another 17.07M PRE-DRAFT!That isn't happening......Even if they Cut Clady (which there has been talk of them doing). That saves them 8.9M - 17.07 = 9M more that they would need to TRADE or RELEASE!

InactiveMar. 26, 2016 at 10:19 pmPost count: 698Like I’ve said in previous threads. Yes, Denver would be an outstanding team to work with as they need CAP SPACE to be able to Draft next Month if they don’t have the ability to DRAFT they can’t even get through the door. Currently, they have $1,648,696 available under the CAP and they have 10 picks in the 2016 NFL DRAFT or the equivalent of 6.6M…. They have a TON of Dead CAP SPACE 7.2M. I can see the following working out for both teams:QB - Glennon2016 - 6th round pick #1832017 - Conditional 2nd or 3rd round pick2018 - Conditional 4th or 5th round pickfor S - TJ Ward $3.250M - 2 year deal (5.75M in 2017 & FA in 2018)WR - Emmanuel Sanders $5.6M - (1 year deal = FA in 2017)2016 - 1st round pick #312016 - 3rd round #942016 - 7th round pick #228Then they could release or restructure Clady and be able to participate in the 2016 NFL DRAFT! The trade of 2016 picks for future picks lowers Denver's pre-draft signing amount to approx. $4.5M which then if they restructured Clady to 5M per and ran the rest across a additional year at 3.9M it would work for them and they could keep their LT.It would also bring more clarity to the Safety position with us and acquiring TJ Ward. It would also give us the speed receiver we need in Sanders. Plus, ample picks to build the Defense or trade up to acquire more defensive talent. That would give the BUCS the following picks this year:1. #91b. #312. #393. #743. #944. #1085. #1486. #1977. #228Currently, we are $18,995,430 under the CAP. The acquisitions of Ward and Sanders fit financially at $8.85M and we have plenty of money left to draft the 9 picks or approx. $8M. (For a final cap figure of - $2.5M under the CAP). At that point we could CUT (EDS $2.5M, Major Wright $1.75M & George Johnson $2M) and save another $6.25M and end up $8.75M under the CAP for 2016.

InactiveMar. 27, 2016 at 12:56 amPost count: 698I look at it this way. Have you ever seen a returning Super Bowl Champion ever NOT Draft a single player in a Draft?Because, that is what is about to happen with Denver!.... They have to Free up almost $17.7M before the Draft to be able to Draft a single player and they have 10 picks between regular and Comp picks. The Bronco's have to walk in the Day before with $6.6M of available CAP SPACE just for their Draft and they only have $1.6M. Even if they Cut Clady they only get $8.9M credit against the CAP and another $1.2M in DEAD CAP SPACE. For a total of $8.4M DEAD CAP SPACE!

Dude is a drama queen. Or on crack, not sure which.THE BRONCOS DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO SIGN THEIR DRAFT PICKS!Its an easy fix, restructure or make some cuts, no biggy. Elway is more worried about whats for dinner, than he is about that nonsense.

Well, take a deep breath and think for a minute. Has there ever been a team in the history of the league, that didn't have enough money to sign their draft picks?I remember Ditka traded all his picks for Ricky Williams, but that was not for financial reasons.
