Ok, I have no idea but follow along here.

      Kyle Pitts measurables.
      6′ 5 5/8″ – 245 lbs
      Arm length 33.5″
      40 yard dash – 4.44
      vertical jump 33
      3-cone 7.12

      Now, OJ Howard measurables
      6′ 6″ – 251 lbs
      Arm length – 33 3/4″
      40 yard dash – 4.51
      Vert jump – 30″
      3-cone – 6.85

The 3 cone measures how fast you can change direction and 6.85 for that size is off the charts. To compare, Calvin Ridley at 189 had a slower 3-cone

The point is very comparable athletes.

So the defense has him to mock Pitts, Evans (mocks Julio jones), Ridley is probably closest to a Scottie Miller, though I cant find measurables on him.

And you line up those guys and work your defense to see what works best. Obviously old fashioned collapsing the pocket is one of the best ways to do it but, you have a good setup to test what works.

Easy, we assign our best cover linebacker, Devin White, to shut him down.

In all seriousness, Pitts will most likely abuse White in coverage.

And though LVD is vastly superior in every way coverage-wise compared to White, he showed signs of losing a step.

I’m expecting Pitts to be split out quite a bit, so I figure we’ll see more S/CB on him than a LB.

If White was on Pitts for a full game he would have 150+ yards

Atlanta’s defense is the problem and keeping Ryan upright.
That being said I expect Atlanta to win some scoring fests.

Pitts is a much better pure receiver than Howard. Howard has the measurable and talent, but Pitts legitimately runs routes like an all pro receiver and has the longest wingspan in modern history. I hate that the Falcons got him, he is going to be amazing.

Now We both know it wasn’t LVD superior coverage skills that ended both the Saints and Chiefs playoff games, furthermore, look what no name backups (Heineken) did to us when White was out… lite our asses up, and LVD played.

      Remember, DH

Legends are created in the playoffs.

Not your best troll, but I’ll give it Top-10 consideration.

White improving in coverage doesn’t make him out best cover LB.

You stop him by getting heat on Ryan most of the game and putting his ass on the turf as often as possible.

OJ may compare favorably to Pitts, but if he can’t get on the field, what’s the point?

The point is using him as a clone to te3st your defense. It has nothing to do with Howard somehow being a counter in the game to Pitts.

That said, We could also use our backs to control the game clock more and give them less chances to score.

Bucs are not going to respect Atlanta’s run game. No play action with A. Smiths offense means the Bucs can bottle up Atlanta’s passing game.

Not worried about the Falcons. They have some great playmakers on offense, but their defense can’t stop a nosebleed.

We’re going to outscore them every day of the week.

We shutdown Pitts the same way the Bucs shutdown Kelce in the Super Bowl.

Kelce had 10 catches for 133 yards.

I wouldn’t necessarily say we “shut him down”.

A good amount of that came in garbage time.
