His name is dropped from betting sites that take bets on where he will sign. Also, supposedly, if the Falcons wait until June 1st to trade, they will not have to eat 15 of the 23 mill that Jones will be owed this year. So it probably happens after Tuesday.

If true sounds like the Pats are trying to emulate the BUCs. One problem… No Brady Bill! lol

Nah Bill wants to emulate that killer combo with Gronk/Hernandez.

Gronk/Hernandez…you’re right. One was a killer.

Hernandez went into jail a tight end, but died because he didn’t want to come out as a wide receiver.

It’s being reported that Seattle is in talks with Atlanta. Hope that doesn’t happen, Lockett/Jones/Metcalf would be crazy hard to defend esp with Russ throwing

Lockett might be part of the deal for Julio.

Mah sources saying to the titans for a 2nd is what some in the league believe will happen.

Surprised if they don’t get a first. Philly has 2(maybe 3 depending on wentz)

It seems to me he is injured every season. I could be wrong. When I think of JJ he seems like he is always having issues with a toe or something like that.

I’m hoping he lands with the Titans so we don’t have to deal with him in the conference. I’d be pretty annoyed if he landed on the Seahawks.

It will all depend on the compensation which has to be a #1 and taking over most if not all of the cap hit. That eliminates many of the buyers.

All the speculation seems to favor the buyer. Atlanta isn’t just going to give away arguably the best wr in the NFL IMO.

The part of the cap hit resulting from the signing bonus will be absorbed by the Falcons. The cap hit from his salary will be on average about $12+ mil per year for three years. That is a bargain for a player like Julio Jones. The wrinkle for the receiving team is that Jones may want a new contract because of that, so that may limit the enthusiasm of a team for giving up a 1st round pick.

Just hope it isn’t the Pats or the Chiefs.

It won’t be the Chiefs. Atlanta won’t accept a first rounder from them because more than likely it will be in the bottom four

      good point

JMO but the best destination for the falcons would be Jax plenty of cap space and they have a #1. Don’t know if Julio can reject the trade?
