Well, according to whack jobs nationwide, wasn’t today supposed to kick off the armed “protests” from coast to coast?
Last I checked: Crickets
I guess when it comes down to it, the nancy boys who were so incensed that there was supposed to be a massive show of power 😂 all over the place.
It’s kinda funny how a show of “force” can so easily evaporate once these peeps are staring down a real military presence armed with automatic weapons. (Plus these National Guard Units, back when I was in the Army were viewed as Weekend Warriors, as they just did their Basic Training, and then went home, only to gather from time to time for exercises. Although I imagine they have better Intel and support from the DoD.)
So, nancy boy groups across the nation opted to revert to angry messaging on the “chans”. While these groups are listed as the largest security threat to the US, and are considered domestic terrorists, as far as trying to to the list of anti-US government groups, ISIS doesn’t have to worry about these dudes jumping them in creating fear. I guess it’s one thing to threaten a bunch of state and federal legislatures, where most people are in their fifties or higher, as opposed to facing an actual military unit.
I imagine these bands of 4F rejects would shit themselves if they were to ever face a group like ISIS, endure a missile strike, or actual deal with real armed combat situations. (Just like Federal Prisons, POW Camps also don’t have a vegan / gluten-free / organic choice on the menu, unless you consider insects as being “organic. 😂 )
So what is good for the country is not necessarily good for all of the parents of the Insurrectionists. Yep, Little Johnny will be living in your basement / attic / garage, for the foreseeable future. So, if any parents out there want to get rid of the kids, the only option is to cancel the Wi-Fi. 😂
Until then, it’s California Über Alles.
Perhaps OT, et al, can make a pilgrimage to South Florida, where they can help Trump’s Senatorial Bid for Florida’s 2022 election. “Skeletor” Scott has been avoiding indiscretions by remaining in public office. Trump can try to jump on that wagon, I guess. 😎
On to the Inauguration going to the true winner, Biden, of the 2020 Presidential Election. No fraud, no questionable voting, and no wife-spread conspiracy to “steal” an election. Just 80 million people who are so fucking tired of Trump’s bullshit, they would have elected the cost of George Wallace. 😂
Most true on all points. Plus, I love some of these names. Where do these purple come up with these things? If I read about a “Boogaloo” group in an advert, I would thing it was done kind of retro, 1950s, Swing / Jazz / Big Band kinda thing. What these people lack in imagination, they also lack in naming conventions. 😎 None of those groups really evoke any semblance of fear. I just see a group of overweight, virginal, incels plastered in sweat-stained, cheeto’s Dust encrusted shirts, and when they show in public, it just cements that image. John Belushi evoked more fear in his role in Animal House. I wonder if they buy their ammo out of their weekly allowance?
MAGA’s are probably going to shove all of their Trump Gear into an attic space, alongside boxes of Christmas lights that haven’t worked since the Korean War. 😃
Finally, the Q folk should be easiest to deal with. I just need the startup funds to buy a mass quantity of transistor radios, circa mid-1960s. Then we just need to create a shell corporation, start some rumour that it’s the latest in secure Q comms, and then let them buy the radios. The radios would then just need a little techy look to them, along with some shiny bits. Then we deny that they exist, as simultaneously, rumours are spread that they are Q licensed and Q certified. Drop some adverts into their “world” while mentioning the highly to secret nature of the devices. They would sell for a ton of $$, and we just mention that they should keep their ears open diligently, as Q will occasionally speak to them. You would have that entire segment of the population sitting in dark rooms, listening to static for the next twenty years. QAnon then becomes QGone, as they all disappear well past Trump’s time in this planet.
I’m pretty certain the Q peeps would buy into this. L. Ron Hubbard has been selling and writing more books since he died, as the whack jobs still perpetuate that he is somehow alive, and every morning downtown Clearwater looks like a Butler Convention is in town. We just need to go after the ones with the money in order to give it validity, and to pay for my $10M Chalet in Aspen. 😂
Yeah sure, Spartan, I can only imagine the holy hell raining down from every corner of the conservative sphere (OK sphere’s don’t have corners) if some left leaning bunch attacked the Capital while they were counting the votes for a Republican. No big deal, right Spartan? Lets just let bygones be bygones and move on. Its been two weeks already! Sure that’s the ticket…
[quote quote=1348940]Well, according to whack jobs nationwide, wasn’t today supposed to kick off the armed “protests” from coast to coast?[/quote]
This according to the OP.
Dunno about you but I’m not seeing bunches of armed insurrectionists running about State capitals creating mayhem. Do You? In fact, I am not seeing it in any state, let alone state capital. So we go from mass insurrection to …… nothing. We obviously don’t know what the morning brings, but as things stand I think we can safely say this has been a big nothing burger yes?
I truly believe if spending time as a Walmart Greeter would make things better for this country, he would be humble enough to do it. What a refreshing feeling it is to have a man with a caring heart living in the White House.
I wouldn’t expect you to understand. How can someone who has no heart and a dark and evil soul even relate to the thought of someone caring about anybody.
Provide one ounce of evidence that he sold secrets to China. If it was true, your heartless idol god surely would have used it against him to try to stay in power. Even a complete moron and maggot like you knows that’s true.
The dumbest rats are always the last ones to jump off a sinking ship. News Flash!!!!!!! The Trump boat is now sitting on the bottom of the ocean. Close your mouth before you drown.
Ding Dong the witch is gone, the wicked witch is gone.
It’s common knowledge that CorruptJoe and Chunter flew to China on Air Force Two.
(Are you following, hairy? I’m sure since you’re a democrap, you’ve NEVER heard any of this… [cover-up])
After their meetings with the The Chinese Democrat Communist Party, Chunter ‘magically’ had a $Billion deal with the LoserfgtChinese.
Billion, with a “B”.
naive hairy poppins, what do you think the trade off was with LoserfgtChina? Yep, military secrets.
But of course, you’re a democrat, so you’ve never heard of any of this.
Common knowledge to Americans.
Evidence = proven facts. Not supposition or some more of those conspiracy theories. Show the court the signed contract and the billion $ bank deposits. Facts Jack or STFU. Like the factual evidence that’s going to be used to take down the Trump Crime syndicate.

There was a fun thing I read in, I believe it was The Post. It was a satirical timeline on the inaugural parade. I can’t recall if it was in the paper for Reagan or Bush II.
The gist was:
11AM: Motorcade arrives at Capitol.
Noon: Inaugural Ceremony
1:15PM: Motorcade begins drive to White House
2PM: Motorcade arrive at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. N.E.
2:15PM: Motorcade leaves very quickly but not before hubcaps are stolen from Presidential Limo
3:15PM: Motorcade arrive at the proper address of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W. Washington, DC 20500
3:20PM President enters White House.
Granted, that is from memory, so not completely accurately posted; however, it was hilarious at the time. I’d love to find the original. My representation doesn’t do it justice.
For people who do not live in or are familiar with D.C., it can be difficult to imagine that addresses on the East and West can be identical, or that K St. N.W. and K St. S.W. Run in the same direction but are completely different streets.
Easy thing to remember:
The Capitol is at the direct center of the city. North of the Capitol runs North Capitol St, South Capitol St. is to the South, and East Capitol St. to the east.
There is no West Capitol St. this is cause west of the Capitol is the Mall, which goes a looong way, with the Washington Monument in the center, and terminating at the Lincoln Memorial. Since the Mall runs West, and the Smithsonian buildings line the Mall, you have two roads that run west. The road north of the Mall is Independence Ave, and south of the Mall is Constitution Ave.
This is what splits the city into it’s four quadrants.
It’s not just you. They’ve really fucked this board up badly in their last “update.” Whoever they pay to “maintain” this board should feel guilty cashing their paychecks.
I’m all for hiring the handicapped, but I would hope that they would use a Dev that actually knows how to code. The idiot they have running this board is killing it.
I have noticed, in some of the hidden code, that there are embedded ads that get placed into the BBCode. The last few things I’ve edited, I’ve deleted that, as well as deleted the Thumbs Up / Down segment.
If they’re short on cash, Is gladly pay a sub again so they can hire someone to fix this shit. Granted, IT peeps in Florida all pretty much suck, but they could farm it out to a company in Eastern Europe, like the Beltway bandits do.
Whomever they have now is fucking this board to the point of it not being usable.
I saw this morning on the today show that some politicians got butthurt when they realized kicking the troops sleeping in the capital building to a garage was known and wasn’t very popular.
I have one question though? Are these people in the military or not? If you want to bring 30000 military members to “protect” Uncle Joe from all the angry, old, unarmed white people you should at least put them all in the empty hotel rooms. Sheesh
I just can’t wait until some of you finally see what this socialist hell is going to look like.
I just want to point out that when I was in the military, as long as I was out of the wind I was good. In fact the parking garage was probably preferable cos I am sure there are a lot of restrictions in the Capitol building that do not pertain to the parking garage.
Hey, my grandma can be pretty scary when she doesn’t get her Metamucil in the morning. I don’t blame Joe or Nancy for being scarred. All those deadly white supremacist groups are coming for them. It’s a revolution…. an insurrection!
It’s painful to realize the extent to which some of you are willing to delude yourselves over politics. The guy with the buffalo horns still giving you nightmares? Jesus according to his attorney, he’s a regular guy who might believe every stupid thing he hears and my life experience tells me that’s most likely true.
This is complete bullshit. Completely bonkers. I cannot express just how out of your minds you’ve all become. There is no revolution! Having Walls built around the capital and 30000 troops guarding the mall if freaking nuts.
You all need to get your heads out of your asses. This is America….. at least the last time I checked.
It certainly smacks of over-reaction to me. You can’t even use pepper spray when people are burning the city down around you, but a few smashed windows gets you 30,000 armed guards in Washington.
Now I get bumping up security in light of the events a couple of weeks ago, but to say folks are going overboard would be an understatement of the highest category to me. For crying out load some are talking about setting up an internal spying agency to monitor for white supremacists. What does that sound like?
I’m pretty certain that the reason that there are still troops is due to perceived threats that may still exist. It’s not to protect the White House. It’s there for the security of the plethora of octogenarians that comprise the legislature.
That said, it looks like things are doing down. Trump is being called weak and worthless by his Boi Bands, he’s lost a number of fringe elements, and even the Q Nuts are re-writing their end-times conspiracy theories.
They’re gonna keep some troops at hand until they get a handle on what the whack jobs are going to do.
My guess is that most of them have crawled back to their hollers where they will do some coon hunting until they can decide on how to proceed with their civil war.
I find it kind of amusing that they didn’t imagine that a civil war would result in Real Military, with Real Training, and Very Real Weapons.
Regardless of what side of the aisle you’re on, the US Military would shred any of those groups in about fifteen minutes. They would not be posing for selfies.
I’d love to see some of those dudes who stormed the Capitol be placed in an area of Real conflict. For a while, I had to work five miles away from the Gaza Strip. Those dudes would shit themselves.
That’s what I mean. I wasn’t in the military but these liberals are just killing me. It’s the attitudes. The military is not your personal police force so you can sleep at night Nancy. The military is the effin military. And the libs prancing around as if they’re going to get everyone their own room and room service while they need the military because of this “emergency”. Pfffffft. goddammit these people are demented. I’m convinced even people like Fire and Goth know damed well that this is completely twisted and keep their mouths shut because of the old tried and true leftist motto; the ends justify the means…. if we can get rid of all the people who believe untrue shit then we can populate the whole country with the people who believe the shit we tell them to.
All this while NYT editors are getting the “chills” when Uncle Joe’s plane lands at the airport. It’s way more than an overreaction. It’s the manipulation of minds through state propaganda.
JBear, you are smarter than that. I don’t need to explain to you why those guardsmen were there. You know the reason. Of course you are a conservative, but stick with arguing real concerns instead of fabricated ones.
Not True Roy. I’m not fabricating the outrage. Look, I know that there was a reason to be sure that the area was secure. What I’m talking about is the overreaction. That overreaction started with calling the Capital riots an insurrection. It presents this image to regular Americans that there is an actual terrorist threat which has never been borne out in fact I think it’s an outright lie started because of politics.
Look, I agree that it works both ways and even I feel differently about Antifa than I did about a tea partier or a gun rights advocate. I admit that we all bring our political biases into the discussion. I’m not trying to get on my high horse. As Fire will and has pointed out that I’m disqualified from having an opinion because there was a riot after I said these people were mostly good people.
But hold on. I’m just asking that Fire, you, anyone with a left wing tilt take a look in the mirror about how they view the opposing militant groups in this country right now. Because I had arguments with people here who bristled at me calling BLM/antifa protesters “terroists” even after destruction of buildings and property and attacks of people and LEO’s.
So we need to all come to an agreement that a terrorist is a person who actually intends to harm people or destroy property. Just being a part of a mob can’t make you a terrorist. That’s true on both sides. But when you plan destruction that’s different. Much like Trump’s election fraud claims, I would like to see the evidence of a massive conspiracy to bomb the capital, kill people or destroy buildings. Short of that, this lockdown is unwarranted and unjust. People should be allowed to protest just like they did when Trump was elected.
JBear, Rioting and disturbances are when people are just breaking and burning shit. Trying to kidnap or assassinate congressmen and women as well as the Vice President is not rioting. There were undoubtedly people there with the intention to do that. Using violence to stop the democratic election process is not rioting or protesting or mayhem or chaos. Its something different. So if they weren’t insurrectionists, what would you call them?
Not a trump guy but not really a Biden guy either. Honestly disgusted with our nation’s lack of ability to find good leaders. Honestly don’t think anybody that’s normal wants to do it with how much corruption is in our politics.
Curious what Biden people think about what he’s done so far. At the moment he is reversing whatever trump did. What do you guys think about this one in particular:
BucBalla, usually they give the guy 100 days to judge what he’s done. You want to give him 3. Well I guess that’s better than Chron who gave him less than 24 hours. Even in today’s fast paced 5G internet world, that old fashioned Biden used plain old ink to sign the documents, which hasn’t had time to dry yet. So lets just everybody relax.
“The military is not your personal police force so you can sleep at night Nancy. The military is the effin military.” (Since they took that away from us.)
Granted, I’m not certain how things work these days. (They must be hard up, though, as I recorded a call from a Army Recruiter the other day. Pretty sure they were trying to reach my son.)
At any rate, when I was in the Army in the 70s, you had Regular Army, National Guard and Army Reserve.
I was regular Army: Boot Camp, AIT, then shipped off to wherever, depending upon your orders.
National Guard was and is meant to support the states. (They could also be called to active Duty in a time of crisis.) Rach state had their own National Guard, and they are called up to duty at the request of a Governor. Their primary directive is to protect the state that they are from. This is why it was the Ohio National Guard that opened fire on protestors at Kent State, killing four unarmed students. (For reference, check out the CSNY song Ohio.)
So, yes, it is definite the city of the National Guard to respond to anything within a state, whether it be disaster relief, or responding to a owrceived threat, even if such perceived threat is “protecting Nancy while she sleeps”, as long as it is ordered by the Governor. If there is a flood, they are deployed to help with rescue, hand out toilet paper and shovel shit. If there is a threat, they are deployed to do whatever is requested by the Governor. If it’s battling armed protestors, then that is what they will do. Additionally, for really dire situations, additional states may send units to assist at the request of other states. So, regardless of whether it not it was overkill, they were doing exactly what they were told to do. When you join the military, you kiss your civil liberties to the curb. You are not a person. You are government property. You do what you are ordered to do. There is no debate, unless you would like to be courtmartialed. If someone above your ranch tells you to shovel shit for twelve hours, you grab a shovel. If you are told to stand on a street corner, you stand in ax street corner. You are not a citizen. You are a soldier.
Reserves are a bit more muddied. Not sure how it works now, but waaaaaaay back, you had active reserves and Inactive reserves. Active reserves would go home and play toy soldier from time to time. Inactive means you are subject to be called to active duty.
Example: My contract was for three years. Back then, everyone was really actually six years. You do, in my case, three years active duty. If you choose not to re-up, at the end of three years you receive your honourable discharge, and you get some lovely parting gifts and a plane ticket. So, once that is done, you are then not really out of the service. Once I was out, I was considered to be on Inactive Reserve for three years. Since Reagan didn’t nuke Iran, I was not called back to active duty; however, I choose been called up, had the need arose.
TLDR: The National Guard did exactly what they were supposed to do. They leave when they are told to leave, and not a minute sooner. (Maryland and Virginia north mobilised their Guard very quickly; however, they sat at the state line until they were permitted / requested to enter.
Oh and by the way, JBear, the fence around the Capital came down pretty much right away. I know you were worried about that, so you and Greenfield can rest easy regarding the Capital being turned into the Baghdad Green Zone.
I’m not certain what that Insulin / Epi thing was supposed to do, but it was a fucking failure. I’ve had to buy EpiPens for as long as they’ve had them. Prior to Trump, my cost for an Epi, whether it be single or double pack, was never over $25.
I have not changed insurance in any way for a good while. Since Trump came into office, the Epi price with no insurance is $600. The GoodRX price sits between $250 – $300. My cost, through insurance is $125. Trump has enabled insurance companies, possibly in concert with Big Pharma, has removed pricing caps from a number of meds. It is cheaper for me to buy some scripts through Argentina or South Africa and have them shipped.
I don’t care what any article says. The truth is Insurance Companies have been given license to fuck with prices over the past four years. All of my scripts cost more. Epi is just the one that is insane.
Also, just for reference, in the past I’ve heard people claim, incorrectly, that meds cost more in the US Venus they are off a better quality.
Not true. Pharmaceutical companies are multi-national, and they all roll their meds off of the same line. The US just gets fucked because agencies like CMS are not permitted to negotiate prices for Medicare, and private insurance companies will always cut costs wherever permitted, mostly through lack of regulation.
Example: (Just one of pretty much every drug.) Lipitor, which I believe is a cholesterol med is manufactured in the Republic of Ireland. All of it is manufactured there. They do not have a spare assembly line for the US. The same pills you overlay for here are the same ones that cost 8 cents in India. Big Pharma is regulated in a number of countries, so they increased their profits through sales to the US, for the same drug.
Example Two: A good while ago, I was talking Motrin 400 mgs, which without a script could run about $400. After a long flight from D.C. to South Africa, laying over in Heathrow, I was in need of something for pain. I went to the pharmacy in Cape Town, close to where I was staying. I had no insurance that would cover meds in South Africa, so I paid out of pocket. A bottle of eighty Motrin, 400 mg tabs, cost me less than $1, after factoring in currency exchange.
Here’s one that’s even more crazy. About two years ago, an insurance company in Utah was trying to find ways to cut med costs. (This actually happened, and afaik, is legal.) They offered their insured patients, probably ones that had scripts that were pricier, a deal open to any takers. That deal was that they would fly their patients down to San Diego, and along with the flight they would pay each person $500 as an added incentive. Once in San Diego, they put their patients in a bus and drive them into Mexico and they then paid for three period to get their meds in a Mexico. They then flew them back to Utah. After all of that, they still saved money.
US residents get screwed in many things. That’s just one; however, that was under Trump.
In short, the US model of medical care is broken. This is not partisan. Republicans and Democrats alike ate screwed out of paying too much for meds. So, whatever Trump’s people had in mind with that one plan, it didn’t work very well.
(US is screwed in many ways. Ancestry.com has a Max cost in the US of $50 per month. Ancestry.ca charges $24.99 Canadian for the same access to the same databases. The only reason they pay less is because they have a Canadian address.)
Good post. From your comment above I thought of something that seems, to me, so absurd that it’s laughable.
I imagine a good number of these conspiracy theorists and Supremacy Groups are probably too paranoid to discuss their plans over the phone, because every good conspiracy theorist KNOWS their phone is tapped by The Man. So, what do they do? They post their plans on social media sites, all of which are easy to trace, document, and requires a lot less red tape than it takes to legally wire-tap a US Citizen.
Yeah, that’s the Master Race for you. 😂
Arrests are approaching 200 and who knows where they will cap out.
First, the Morning price, during the time I worked in South Africa, was 2004 / 2005, so yeah, OTC Motrin, capped at 200 mgs became a thing. Also, you still, to this day cannot by Motrin in 300 mg, 400 mg, 600 mg, or 800 mg, without a script. You can only buy the 200 mg tabs, and yes, the process have dropped in fifteen years; however, prior to it being permitted OTC, pharmacies here, without insurance charged out the ass for Motrin. I was simply using that as an example as to how people in the US get screwed by lack of regulation of Big Pharma, permits them to charge people in the US at insane rates. I could use other meds; however, it’s been a while since I’ve worked in South Africa. As I was saying, this is not a partisan issue. All people in this country get screwed into higher prices. It is not because r we have better access or better care. It is because agencies like CMS are not permitted to negotiate cost.
Conversely, in the early 80s, a script for 60 10mg Percocet cost about $5. It wasn’t until after the advent of “pain management” centers that the cost of Opiates became insane. I simply used an example that showed price inequity that exists here.
My example for Lipitor want about price. It was about manufacture. While you don’t here it much these days, one of the Go To answers that Big Pharma, and politicians that were funded by drug lobbyists used to use the excuse that Americans paid more for meds because they were a better quality, and more easily available to a wider group of people. That was all Bullshit. The US pays more for drugs because they cannot negotiate cost the way the other countries can. My point with Lipitor, used solely because that is one I’m familiar with from sounding a lot of time in Ireland, is simply that manufacturers do not have separate facilities for meds meant to go to the US. They roll off the same assembly line as the ones that are showed to the rest of the world. If you take Lipitor, it came from Ireland. (Granted, now that it’s available in Generic, I can’t say where those meds are made, but I can guarantee that they don’t have special facilities for “US Only use”. It’s all about what they can get away with charging.
I know a couple people who must pay over $1,000 each month for meds. Those same meds, in other countries would cost less. This is why a Utah Insurance Company can pay people to fly / bus into Mexico, fill there scripts there, and fly them home, all while saving money at their bottom line. This Utah thing occurred in 2019, under Trump.
Again, I’m not blaming Republicans or Democrats for this. Big Pharma has a strong lobby. I don’t think the average person here knows the extent of how many lobbyists exist in this country, each going after their social interest.
Hell, even Bono is a lobbyist and spends a lot of time on Capitol Hill. (Not certain if he’s retired, but probably hasn’t.) The unique thing with Bono is that he has a knack for being popular among both parties. That’s rare. I also find it ironic that if you even want to meet Bono, you have a better shot at seeing him on K St. N.W. thank you do running into him at Ireland.
One last example. When I was working in India, same time frame, I contracted Cholera. This was shortly after Cori came out and cost out the ass in the US. I went to a doctor in India, as I was stifling there. Again, I had no insurance that covered me in India. My entire cost of treatment, including doctor visit, and three scripts, including the Cipro, came to $2.00 US. (Granted, a half litre price costs 16 cents in India. If they sold Oepsi for $1.79, no knee could buy it other than tourists, and Chennai is not really the Tourist Hot Spot in the country. The two main places of tourism are Goa and Pondicherry.
At any rate, my comments about US consumers getting screwed like no other country allowed is still true today. As years pass, the items will change, but we’ll still be overpaying for them.
” and Parler taken down helped prevent their ability to coordinate.”
You think it is Ok to take down an entire company who had a value of over a billion dollars to prevent a couple hundred assholes from “coordinating”. Nice to know your price of freedom and fee speech.
Pity most folks say these assholes were “coordinating” on facebook, as were all the city riots in the Summer, but hey, it’s OK because there’s a bunch of conservative assholes who have nothing to do with this moving to Parler. It’s the price of “equity” I guess!
There is a debate to be had about the Social media or “Big tech” companies have to do with free speech even if they aren’t the government.
But as I already pointed out you are getting sandbagged if you believe that the conservatives are the big defenders of the 1st Amendment and the liberals are the ones who want to take it away.
Trump had no interest in free speech. He’s interested in pro-Trump propoganda. The election was stolen. He won in a landslide. Its over for America. Only 14 days ago, a Voice of America reporter was reassigned because they asked Pompeo a question that didn’t fit the agenda. They were doing their job, and got punished for it. A familiar story in Trumpland.
And Section 230 reform, pushed by Trump was designed to make companies liable for anything said on their platform. Is that promoting free speech?
Personally, I have no problem with forced closures of companies, I do not support all forms of speech as free speech, and I fully support tech companies as being regulated and liable for content in their sites.
What shut down Parler, along with forced policing of other “social” media sites, was not regulation. It was corporate entities pulling their financial support through advertising. While, imho, these companies have way too much power in dictating conduct / content in other sites, in a “capitalist” society, they are within their rights to support or not support any entity that they choose.
Look at The Redskins. Granted, Dan Snyder is a fucking, greedy tool that has no desire to win, but just wants profits, caved in on The Redskins when FedEx threatened to pull their financial support for FedEx Field. Again, personally, if Snyder wasn’t a greedy shit, he would’ve told FedEx to fuck off and found another sponsor. With only thirty-two NFL teams, he could’ve found another sponsor. I have never supported selling stadium names anyways. I preferred Jack Kent Cooke Stadium. Fuck FedEx.
Also, it does have to do with free markets, as companies these days are purely driven by $$ and could give a shit about the consumer. One of the reasons I will never support I’d believe in capitalism. It is what makes the US a shithole country, which falls far behind the standards of other first world nations. I honestly have no idea why people would willingly want to live here. I can’t wait to leave.
“ How many people that were ‘detained’ for their roles in “Picnic on The Capitol Steps” are actually in custody right now?
If this were an actual “insurrection”, the vast majority would still be in custody…”
Iirc, it’s called Bond, or release by ROR. Afaik, I believe that is listed under Rights to Due Process, granted, The more money you have, the more “Due Process” one receives.
Most people tend to obtain bond; however, that doesn’t mean that they won’t be showing up in court. Not only that, the arrests currently happening are starting to be linked to higher crimes. If they were not US citizens, they’d be getting water-boarded in Gitmo about now. Instead, they will stand trial. A lot will cop pleas and get lesser charges.
The interesting thing, should you follow the one thing that almost all of them are saying, through the ones who have attorneys, is that they were incited to violence at the direction of Trump, and had that not occurred, they sold not have pardoned their criminal acts.
That said, if they can turn enough people to testify against Trump in Federal Court, they would have a strong case against Orange Hitler for Conspiracy to Commit Sedition. One or two witnesses wouldn’t do it, but if you get about twenty-five people to testify, along with the video and the time table, Trump will be looking at Federal Prison. Also, unlike OJ, Trump’s behaviour of fucking over attorneys means you probably won’t see a “Dream Team” Defence group.
He may get off in the Senate, but there are a shit ton of Federal prosecutors waiting for their piece of the fat man.
At least Melania can help translate, should Putin allow him into Mother Russia. 😎
Damn, is Senile Joe ever going to step out of his Oval Bunker Office.
All he does is get Osmellsbad on the phone and axe him “what do you need me to bring back again, boss?
I’ve got my pen, and, you know… that one thing…”
He’s treating the Oval Office like an old folks home.
He’s gonna rename it The Orville Office.
