https://twitter.com/BuckyBrooksto paraphrase just posted a few tweets describing his opinion of a perfect WR corp.#1 WR: Needs to run full route tree, command and beat double coverage, doesn't need elite speed, must also be able to go over the middle and do "dirty work"#2 WR:  The Blazer who can take the top off the defense and product big plays against 1 on 1Slot: more quick than fast, and tough, good RACTE: Having a TE who is big and able to stretch defense with good hands can make up for what a WR corp may lack. Obviously I'm sure this doesn't apply to every single NFL system, but many other people would say the same thing. Judging from these standards, how do you think our WR corp grades out?

Agree with most of that.  Vince and Evans will be fine. We need a good slot guy, hopefully Herron or someone else can contribute there. The TE has improved quite a bit from last season.

With Evans and Vjax its like having two #1s that can man both sidelines, but who also can be worked into the slot in order to mix it up. Hopefully Evans develops a full route tree and whatever else he needs to take over fully for Vjax in a few years. We have a group of TEs who can stretch the field, starting with ASJ and his incredible upside. Besides that we have a bunch of potential #2/3s, one or two of which should step up. And lastly if Herron could also become effective from the slot, that would be icing on the cake.

Its more simple than that.Guy 1 needs to command a double teamGuy 2 needs to be able to win 1 on 1Guy 3 needs to be able to catch short over the middleCan be WR or TE, doesn't really matter

that's pretty much how i've always seen it. i would add a Guy 4 that needs to be able to chip a pass rusher and then move into a check down spot ..
