and in this terribly run economy, just imagine the fuel cost….

that’ll be in the ticket prices for sure

Well that’s because of three games. @49ers, @Cardinals on Christmas, and of course the Germany game. Those three games are all in the last half of the year. But don’t worry the fuel cost will be OK because the players will be taking a plane paid for by the team and I’m pretty sure they aren’t being charged a fuel surcharge. I imagine the NFL is covering the cost of the Germany trip.

Only 6,512 miles all year? Sweet geebus. That’s even more hard to fathom than the Bucs 26k+ @ #1.

All one-way for Bucs, using direct flights data one-way direct flights (obviously not Munich) from flightstats.
      927 DAL one way
      487 NO
      874 PIT
      509 CLT
      5,076 MUC
      929 CLE
      2,435 SFO
      1,784 PHX
      416 ATL

Total 13,437×2=26,874 total miles. We go to the west coast twice, Germany, the northern states twice, and Dallas. Both ways is a lot of miles.

Pittsburgh is lucky as I they only have a few places more than 800 round trip like Atlanta, Carolina, Indy, and Miami. Even those are nothing like San Fran or Arizona.

The NFL is not doing its part in combatting climate change. I am upset. I bought a house 20 miles inland 25 years ago because according to Al Gore, by now I would have ocean front property.

The NFL needs to realign its conferences to reduce travel and thus do its part to combat climate change.

I sure wish the morons would put themselves in the shoes of smart people once in a while. They would be able to experience the moronic things people say from the other side. Then maybe they would shut up more often.

The people bitching about political threads keep throwing political jabs at random times and then when folks respond they get all bent out of shape.

Kaep, oil prices, global warming, gun sales…

Getting bored? I’m happy to oblige, just say the word.

There are plenty of one way flights from Florida to Germany so it can be done. How do you think they fill up Cape Coral so fast every year? Haha
