1. Maximize Wirfs’ skill set. He would be an elite guard.
2. Maximize the value of the 2nd round pick.
3. Replace the worst starter currently, Cappa, giving Brady the best OL possible.+37-3Rating: +34. From 40 votes.Please wait...Apr. 24, 2020 at 8:24 am #1279902dexmonkeyParticipant
i wouldnt hate this. flood the position with as many bodies as possible
especially since they both have LT experience and i believe D Smith can but cut or traded without cap penalty after this season. if you arent satisfied with him you can move him and you have options in house
i highly doubt they do this but you can make the case for it+21-1Rating: +20. From 22 votes. Please wait...

I would be perfectly fine with this to be honest. If it pans out, Wirfs moves over to LT next season.
Wirfs does look like an all pro guard, with his athleticism pulling from the guard position, his strength.. I wouldn’t hate this move.+80Rating: +8. From 8 votes. Please wait...

Jones is more of a natural LT. Let Wirfs stay on the right side at RT or RG IMVHO.
I wouldn’t be against the Bucs drafting Jones to be honest.+14-1Rating: +13. From 15 votes. Please wait...

my thoughts exactly. start him at guard then next year, or if needed b/c injury, he can slide over to tackle.+6-2Rating: +4. From 8 votes. Please wait...Apr. 24, 2020 at 8:31 am #1279912yuccaneersParticipant
Considering the team’s current depth at the tackle spot is Wirfs/Heag – can’t go wrong with adding Jones, if he is available in the second round. Gives the team flexibility and a stable of young offensive linemen to groom. And allows you to seriously considering Smith as a potential trade or cap causality candidate next off-season depending on the development of Wirfs and Jones.+8-1Rating: +7. Bucs have other areas of need but , if they were to draft a ot/g, Cameron Clark would be my guy.
They cant forget about dl and backers, old in those areas, and you hope jpp, shaq, suh bring same production as last year,I doubt they will though.+2-5Rating: -3. From 7 votes. Please wait...

The old Mark Dominik Double Tap, huh? I liked it as a concept back then but the execution was never right. I’d be very happy with that route later today. Hopefully one of these guys doesn’t turn out to be Brian Price or Arrelious Benn.+70Rating: +7. From 7 votes. Please wait...Apr. 24, 2020 at 8:47 am #1279919Live4BUCSParticipant
if Winfield isn’t there and Jones is then i’d be completely happy with this. If They are both there then id pray we could flip OJ for one of those guys and draft the other with our current pick. Take Gibson in the 3rd or Bowden later (give brady that pass catcher/gadget player). fill in with DL depth with the rest of the picks.+3-1Rating: +2. Don’t mind the theory. The only thing I don’t like is when we have to decide which one to pay, one would most likely be lost after 1st contract.

I mean we have to be able to play good defense, and we still need some help there, but keeping Brady clean is the most important goal. Like others have said, I’m 100% down for this if it plays out that way.+10Rating: +1. From 1 vote. Please wait...Apr. 24, 2020 at 9:17 am #1279941BucsSuckParticipant
